Memorial Day Camping at Buffalo

We enjoyed our annual Memorial Day camping trip at Buffalo with the Black Family.  The forecast was for a lot of rain, but we were pleasantly surprised to have mostly sunshine and only one nightly rain shower.  Reed and Christina helped us break-in the new trailer and tried out the air bed.  Rod and Scott came on Saturday with their families.  I love being with my family.
We drove to Big Springs to feed the fish. While others were trying bread we brought cheese.  It was a hit with the fish and soon we had a crowd watching.

Mr. & Mrs. Scott Rockwood

It is wonderful to welcome another daughter-in-law to the family.  Taylor has felt like part of the family for a long time but now it is official.  Taylor gave us a scare with blood clots the week before the wedding.  Fortunately, she was out of the hospital a couple days before the wedding and made it through the day.  Scott and Taylor Marie Muckleroy were married on May 16, 2015 in the Rexburg Temple.  We had a luncheon afterward at the church and a beautiful reception that evening. They make a cute couple and we love having them around.

Back to Work at the Farm

Spring is here and the work at the farm begins.  Doug cleaned out some more dead trees and it looks fantastic.

He has mowed the park and moved the old combine over.  At first I couldn’t figure out what they were doing, but they showed me a picture of his latest project.  I can’t wait!  It will be soooo fun.

RZR Riding

March 20, 2015

Reed and Christina gave Doug a GPS for his birthday.  We went for a ride to Taylor Mountain and the Wolverine before going to the farm one afternoon.  Our little ride ended up being about 4 hours long but we were able to witness a beautiful Idaho sunset.

Jeff and Debbie Wheeler came to the farm and we went on a ride to Rash Canyon and then Doug has been dying to try June Creek Road again since he couldn’t make it up the hill a month ago.  We had a beautiful Saturday afternoon and it was fun to share it with great friends.
