Merry Christmas 2014

It has been a wonderful Christmas.We had a Christmas Eve dinner with most of the family.  Daren is in Singapore and Marlene in Montana.  We greatly missed them and the girls.

 

It has been a relaxing day of presents, movies, games, and kids.  I love these kind of days with our family.Although we didn’t have a missionary to call this year, we did FaceTime with Daren last night and with Marlene, Emma, and Ava today.

Maddox with the Rockwood Family

Each year (weather permitting) we like to meet with Doug’s parents and siblings at Maddox in Brigham City, Utah for lunch to celebrate Venna’s birthday.  It is fun to get together and reminisce over a delicious meal.  This year I convinced them to pose for a picture.  We love our family and feel fortunate to have all of us together.

I am so grateful that I married this wonderful man and became a part of this family.

We had a wonderful weekend in Montana blessing Ava.  She is a sweet baby and we are happy to have her in the family.

Ava was blessed by her Daddy and had both Grandpas, Great Grandpa Beck, 5 Uncles and 1 Great Uncle included in the circle.  It was a beautiful blessing. I had crocheted her blessing dress and she looked adorable in it.

We had all of the boys and there families there with us.  It is one of the payback moments to see all of your boys worthy to have the Priesthood and be part of this special ordinance of blessing a new baby.  Doug and I feel so blessed.
