Heavenly Blessings–A New Baby

We are excited to welcome granddaughter #3 to our family.  Avacette Suzanne Rockwood was born Friday, September 5, 2014 in Bozeman, Mt. She weighed 6 lb. 13 ou. and was 20 1/2 inches long.  I was able to travel and be there for her birth.  Unfortunately, her daddy was in Singapore working and couldn’t be there.  We were able to call and have him on the phone during the entire delivery, but he was dearly missed.  Marlene’s Mom and Dad were also there and a great help.  Emma was so happy to have a little sister.  AVa is a beautiful and sweet baby.  Thank Heaven for little girls!

Puddle Bustin” in Island Park

We have been trying to squeeze every bit of fun out of the last weeks before school begins.  Last weekend Doug, Scott and I took the trailer and spent a couple nights camping at Buffalo.  It rained a lot but we still fit in a couple rides. There has been so much rain the past few weeks so the water is puddled everywhere in Island Park. It has continued to rain off and on all week.  Doug has been trying to finish cutting grain for other people and the rain keeps postponing things.  However, it didn’t stop us from going for another ride today.  We met up with Jeff and Debbie Wheeler and their son Jeremy and family.  We had a great ride around Island Park to Big Springs.  We also found plenty of puddles to splash through.  It was a great day!
