Fun at the Farm

Rod, Steph and Maya came up to the farm for a visit.  We had dinner and then went for a ride to Tex Creek.
The Kokanee salmon are red and ready to spawn.  We also saw a moose along the way.

Maya enjoyed the ride and chattered along the way.  She would pat her dad on the back and say “hah”. 
So glad that we have the chance to spend time with them.

On Top of the World

Doug took me on a 4-Wheeler ride today.  We rode to Rash Canyon, a favorite of mine.  It was beautiful. Then we rode from there to 4th of July Ridge.  This part of the ride is a little bit harder than I like.  There are some steep spots, rocky places, and side hills that you traverse.  However, I made it and the view from the top is amazing.  You can see mountains and valleys in all directions.  I always tell him it is the last time he is getting me up there, but then I forget and follow along again.
